Description

The NBI feature aims to enhance the Teraflow SDN framework by extending the NorthBound Interface (NBI) to allow orchestration from a QKD Orchestrator by making available a REST API following the standard ETSI 018. This extension is designed to support the seamless integration and management of QKD systems, ensuring secure and efficient operation of the network infrastructure through standardized interfaces. Some functionalites offered by the extended NBI for QKD would be:

  • Orchestration and Configuration Management
  • Quantum Key Management
  • Network Topology Management
  • Security Policy Management
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics

Demo or definition of done

  • Implementation and validation of the extended NBI that provides a REST API for orchestration.
  • Successful orchestration of Teraflow SDN framework from a QKD Orchestrator.
  • Comprehensive documentation on the adaptation process, including setup, configuration, and interaction guidelines.
