Description
The proposal focuses on integrating an efficient path computation algorithm tailored for Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) networks within the Teraflow Software-Defined Networking (SDN) controller. This integration aims to optimize route selection for quantum key transportation, ensuring secure and efficient key distribution across the network infrastructure. By aligning the path computation with QKD-specific requirements, we enhance the overall security and performance of the network, preparing it for future quantum threats. The algorithm is characterized by:
- Shortest Path Computation with Constraints
- Pre-filtering Mechanism
- Optimization Metric
Demo or definition of done
- Development and integration of the path computation algorithm specific to QKD requirements.
- Successful demonstration of optimized path selection for secure key distribution in a test environment.
- Comprehensive documentation on the algorithm's implementation, its impact on network performance, and security enhancement.
