Fixing two issues with the previous commit: i) obtaining the correct service gRPC port; ii) updating the gitlab ci file to use the correct service port.

- Factorized get settings from environment variabes into common method get_setting

Fix renaming of compute.proto methods from snake-case to camel-case. Added minor naming improvements.
