<h2 id="desc" class="list">SAREF extension for industry and manufacturing domain: Description <span class="backlink"> back to <a href="#toc">ToC</a></span></h2>

SAREF4INMA focuses on extending SAREF for the industry and manufacturing domain to solve the lack of interoperability between various types of production equipment that produce items in a factory and, once outside the factory, between different organizations in the value chain to uniquely track back the produced items to the corresponding production equipment, batches, material and precise time in which they were manufactured. Figure 1 presents an overview of the classes and the properties included in the SAREF4INMA extension.

<h3 id="desc" class="list">Instantiating SAREF4INMA ontology <span class="backlink"> back to <a href="#toc">ToC</a></span></h3>
This section shows an example of an instantiation of the SAREF4INMA ontology. Such example represents how to describe an instance of item. In this particular case it is described a shaver, which has several properties that describes the batch where it is produced and the production equipment needed to be created.
