There is no need to modify the clause by adding the text “and its compatibility features of the ICT with assistive technology” because Note 1 already provides a clarification.

"Where ICT includes product documentation, whether provided separately or integrated within the ICT, the documentation shall list and explain how to use the accessibility features of the ICT."

If I recall correctly, STF 614 held discussions on the 29 January 2025 meeting regarding the "Where ICT includes product documentation, whether provided separately or integrated within the ICT, the documentation shall list and explain how to use the accessibility features of the ICT and its compatibility features with assistive technology." The discussion topic was about unifying terminology across EN 301 549, and it was decided that clause 12.1.1 is exceptional, as it includes not only accessibility features but also compatibility features. To highlight that exception, it was decided that it is important to make that distinction not only in Note 1 but also in the text of the clause.
That is correct. There is a possibility that this requirement may eventually be located in the other EN on "non-digital information". Until any such change is finalised, this requirement will appear with the clause number 12.3 in the latest editor's draft to be uploaded on or before 17th April 2025.
