Test clause C.6.2.1.2 proposal matching the 6.2.1.2 RTT requirement of #241
The clauses in #241 look quite good, but not the test. Here is a proposed alternative.
C.6.2.1.2 RTT communication between services
Type of assessment | Inspection |
---|---|
Pre-conditions | 1. The ICT under test is an electronic communication service that supports bidirectional voice communication with one or more electronic communication services |
2. A test service is available with which the ICT under test supports bidirectional voice communication for its users | |
3. A test terminal is available using the ICT under test, and another test terminal is available in the test service. Both terminals support bidirectional voice communications and have general features for text handling. | |
Procedure | 1. Establish communication with voice and RTT between the test terminals. |
2. Send basic RTT text from the test terminal in the service under test for about 10 seconds. | |
3. Check if basic RTT text is presented on the test terminal in the test service and if it is presented in a continous fashion while it is produced in the other terminal. | |
4. Send basic RTT text from the test terminal in the test service for about 10 seconds. | |
5. Check if basic RTT text is presented on the test terminal in the service under test and if it is presented in a continous fashion while it is produced in the other terminal. | |
Result | Pass: Check 3 and 5 are true |
Fail: Check 3 or 5 is false | |
Test is not applicable if pre-condition 1 is not met. |
NOTE: This test tests only basic RTT text communication. Once tested successfully the other tests in the RTT test clauses should be performed with the same combination of ICT under test and test system, eventually complemented with other test terminals.
