Accessibility needs mappings - table B.2
The Annex B table B.2 contains mappings between each clause and relevant accessibility needs expressed in the functional performance statements.
It seems some mappings are missing, so they should be added in future versions of the standard.
Here are candidates for improvement. If you see more, please use the comments feature.
9.1.3.5, 10.1.3.5 and 11.1.3.5 Identify input purpose - Today the table says Limited Vision (LV) is the primary (P) and only mapping. I do not agree. Guided by the Understanding document, I believe it should map to Limited Manipulation or Strength (LMS) and Limited Cognition (LC) as primary (P), and possibly Without Vision (WV) and Limited Vision (LV) as secondary (S). Thanks to Tommy Olsson for pointing this out.
9.2.4.7, 10.2.4.7, 11.2.4.7 Focus visible should not have a mapping to Without Vision (WV). It is now marked as primary (P).
9.1.4.13, 10.1.4.13, 11.1.4.13 Content on hover or focus maybe could add Without Vision (WV) as secondary (S), because even users without vision may accidentally hover or focus something, and experience problems if content is brought to the front that cannot easily be removed.
