Markup language in software: 11.1.4.12, 11.4.1.1.1 and 11.4.1.3.1
The three clauses:
- 11.1.4.12 Text spacing
- 11.4.1.1.1 Parsing (open functionality)
- 11.4.1.3.1 Status messages (open functionality)
All refer to WCAG succes criteria that states: "In content implemented using markup languages [...]"
11.4.1.1.1 differs in that it contains a table with a note (Table 11.12, note 5) which replaces "In content implemented using markup languages" with "For software that uses markup languages, in such a way that the markup is separately exposed and available to assistive technologies and accessibility features of software or to a user-selectable user agent".
I would argue, that 11.1.4.12 and 11.4.1.3.1 should contain a similar note.
