Description
The SBI component has to be extended in order to automatically discover the relevant OpenConfig Multi-Granular Optical Nodes (MG-ON) elements including: interfaces/capabilities, wavelength-based interfaces, waveband-based interfaces and fiber-based interfaces. The wavelength-router OpenConfig module has to be integrated with MG-ON NETCONF agents. At the first connection, the SBI module gets and parses the full configuration, onboarding all the relevant information.
The optical controller component has to retrieve the topology from the TFS Context database. In this way no more need of dedicated topology files at the bootstrap of the optical controller.
The TFS link model has to be extended to synchronize the link status among the optical controller module and the TFS context. In order to optimize the storage occupation the dictionary of the multi-band slots in a list of 64-bit integers.
The complete setup and deletion of a media-channel exploiting both optical band and media-channel configuration has to be implemented and tested with emulated NETCONF devices.
Demo or definition of done:
The aforementioned functoinality is to be demonstrated at OFC Conference 2025. Demo paper under preparation.
