0005280: Misleading sentence |
| Description |
The last sentence before the error causes
of C.26 says: "The resulting octetstring will have the same length as
the incoming charstring." This is true for the "physical" lengths of the
string but not to the length returned by lengthof(). In the latter case
the octetstring's length will always be the half of the charstring
length, due to the different units (pair of hex digits vs.
characters) |
