0000887: Incompatible str2oct and oct2str
functions |
| Description |
In edition 3.1.1 the semantics of str2oct
and oct2str have been changed without any notice. This leads to tool
incompatibility between tool supporting 3.1.1 and higher with ones
supporting 2.2.1 and earlier.
A new predefined function oct2char has been introduced in 3.1.1 which
uses the behavior of str2oct etc had in 2.2.1. |

We strongly urge to change the semantics
back to its orginal. Possibly swap names of str2oct and char2oct
etc. |
