Resource Activation Support
### Proposer(s) ITAv ### New Feature in a nutshell The CAMARA Project has been widely adopted by major industry players, and aims to revolutionize cloud-native application management by developing, defining, and testing APIs. CAMARA focuses on: * Enabling cross-network interoperability through open APIs. * Promoting API standardization across the telecom industry.* Simplifying the development process for third-party developers. * Reducing the complexity of integrating new services and technologies. * Fostering innovation and collaboration between operators and developers. * etc. Recently, a new API emerged from a collaboration between CAMARA and TMF, the TMF931 Open Gateway Onboarding and Ordering Component Suite. To implement this API, another API needs to be implemented: the TMF702 Resource Activation Management API ### Rationale The TMF702 can be used to query resource instances to acquire their activation states and attributes, create/update, configure, and activate them. In the Use Cases presented on the TMF931's API User Guide Specification, this API is used to create an Application, which is onboarded by its ApplicationOwner. The implementation of this API would allow for the implementation of the TMF931, thus bringing OpenSlice a step closer to aligning with CAMARA. ### Attached Feature Presentation [ResourceActivationSupportFeatureProposal.pdf](/uploads/8b2223576e796fd2ba9ba090c11c4802/ResourceActivationSupportFeatureProposal.pdf) ### Acknowledgements This work is supported by the EU-funded HORIZON-JU-SNS-2022 IMAGINE-B5G project with Grant Agreement number 101096452.
