Revise Incorrect Description of Word Substitution in Note 4 of Clause 10.3.3.8

REFERENCE: Clause 10.3.3.8, Note 4

The current wording in Note 4 incorrectly states that terms such as “user agent” and “on the same page” were replaced. The actual word substitution made was replacing “website” with “non-web document.”

Please note that ITI submitted another comment on this SC requesting that Note 3 be eliminated, so the suggested revision to Note 4 doesn’t include “and adding note 3”.

PROPOSED CHANGE

Revise Note 4 to read:

his success criterion is identical to the WCAG 2.2 Success Criterion 3.3.8 Accessible authentication (minimum) replacing “website” with “non-web document”.
