proposed simplification of headings (subclauses 6.0.2 through 6.0.9)

REFERENCES: subclauses 6.0.2 through 6.0.9 (ICT supporting continuous bidirectional communication)

The headings are very long and repeat key words. We recommend structuring the requirements between the client requirements and the communication system requirements. Long headings can be difficult to read and may prove somewhat troublesome for screen reader users. An alternative would be to have a top-level heading for each and subclause headings that don't repeat “communication client” or “communications system”. Perhaps also have an “Emergency communications” heading with sub-bullets "roaming mode" and "visiting clients."

PROPOSED CHANGE

Consider revising the various referenced headings as follows to render them as brief as possible:

  • 6.0.2 Communication client
  • 6.0.2.1 Client in emergency communications (was 6.0.6)
  • 6.0.3 Communication system
  • 6.0.3.1 Connecting to another communication system (was 6.0.4)
  • 6.0.3.2 Communication client in roaming mode (was 6.0.5)
  • 6.0.3.3 Emergency communications (was 6.0.7)
  • 6.0.3.3.1 Client in roaming mode (was 6.0.8)
  • 6.0.3.3.2 Client visiting other country (was 6.0.9)
