Clarification to "6.2.2.4 Presentation of relative time order of text" and corresponding C.6.2.2.4
The current proposal is reasonable but leaves room for interpretation as to the correct order of text. It is not clear if the moment of typing (by sender) or receiving is the relevant one. Especially in a multi-user scenario where different networks around the world could be used, a character typed first can be the last to be received within the data stream. This can either be solved by transmitting a time stamp for each character (which obviously is inappropriate) or using the time of receipt.
Proposal: Change "appeared" to "is received".
