C.13.2 Access to relay services tests

Adapt C.13.2 to changed contents of 13.2. Access to relay services

New wording proposal

C.13.2.1 Relay service basic access

Type of assessment Inspection
Pre-conditions 1. The ICT system under test supports continuous bidirectional communication.
2. One or a set of relay services is specified to be used with the ICT under test.
3. A communications client to be used in or with the ICT under test is available.
Procedure 1. Check for each specified and available relay service that the system can initiate communications and get the relay service invoked and function with the intended media and modality conversion.
2. Check for each specified and available relay service that the system can receive communications and get the relay service invoked and function with intended media and modality conversion.
Result Pass: Check 1 and 2 are true
Fail: Check 1 or check 2 is false
Not applicable: Pre-condition 1 or 2 or 3 is not met.

C.13.2.2 One step connection of outgoing communications

Type of assessment Inspection
Pre-conditions 1. The ICT system under test supports continuous bidirectional communication.
2. One or a set of relay services is specified to be used with the ICT under test.
3. A communications client to be used in or with the ICT under test is available.
Procedure 1. Check for each specified and available relay service that the system can initiate communications specifying both the target number or address and that the relay service is wanted in one user operation and get the relay service invoked and function with the intended media and modality conversion.
Result Pass: Check 1 is true
Fail: Check 1 is false
Not applicable: Pre-condition 1 or 2 or 3 is not met.

C.13.2.3 One step connection of incoming communications

Type of assessment Inspection
Pre-conditions 1. The ICT system under test supports continuous bidirectional communication.
2. One or a set of relay services is specified to be used with the ICT under test.
3. A communications client to be used in or with the ICT under test is available.
Procedure 1. Check for each specified and available relay service that the system can receive communications from users specifying the number or address of the client used in or with the ICT under test.
2. Check that the relay service is invoked in the communication in one user operation when the receiving user indicates that relay service support is wanted.
Result Pass: Check 1 and 2 are true
Fail: Check 1 or 2 is false
Not applicable: Pre-condition 1 or 2 or 3 is not met.

C.13.2.4 Establishment of modality, language and action directions in relay service communications

Type of assessment Inspection
Pre-conditions 1. The ICT system under test supports continuous bidirectional communication.
2. One or a set of relay services is specified to be used with the ICT under test.
3. A communications client to be used in or with the ICT under test is available.
Procedure 1. Check that a setting is available in the client of ICT under test for indication pf preferred modality and language for expression and for reception.
2. Check for each specified and available relay service that the system provides the language and modality preferences to the relay services when the communication is initiated and that the relay service is invoked and function with the intended media and modality conversion.
Result Pass: Check 1 and 2 are true
Fail: Check 1 or 2 is false
Not applicable: Pre-condition 1 or 2 or 3 is not met.

C.13.2.5 Relay service support in conference communications

Type of assessment Inspection
Pre-conditions 1. The ICT system under test supports continuous bidirectional communication in conferences where the users call in
2. One or a set of relay services is specified to be used with the ICT under test.
3. A communications client to be used in or with the ICT under test is available.
Procedure 1. Check for each specified and available relay service that the system can accept that the relay service can connect to the conference and provide transcoding of modalities in the media of the conference.
2, Check that the client can receive the transcoded media from the relay service and that what the user of the client expresses is available to the relay service for transcoding.
Result Pass: Check 1 and 2 are true
Fail: Check 1 or 2 is false
Not applicable: Pre-condition 1 or 2 or 3 is not met.
