DE comment on 5.5.2 Operable part discernibility clarification for TV (tab 5, issue 29, row 30)

5.5.2 Operable part discernibility

Where ICT has operable parts, it shall provide a means to discern each operable part, without requiring vision and without performing the action associated with the operable part.

NOTE: One way of meeting this requirement is by making the operable parts tactilely discernible.

Input to the revision of EN 301 549 from Digital Europe (including Samsung, LG, Amazon, Sony, Panasonic)

NOTE 2: Where TV is ICT, physical buttons may not all be distinct but can form part of a functional group or strategically positioned so is tactiley discernable
